Dr. Gurunathan K. Muthusamy (Hon. PhD)
Managing Director

A self-learned and savvy individual, Dr. Gurunathan joined Syarikat Little Caterers in 1978 as a Chef. After 25 glorious years of contributing towards the tremendous growth of the company where Syarikat Little Caterers grew to be a household name, Dr. Gurunathan who was holding the portfolio as Director of Purchasing and Production, left to pursue his dreams.

JUMBO was conceived because of two things - Dr. Gurunathan understood what people wanted when it came to catering and he had a genuine passion for it. Based on his experience and insights, the forward thinking man applied them successfully into JUMBO.

Dr. Gurunathan is the founder member and also currently the Managing Director of JUMBO Group of Companies. He is also a member of the Chef Association of Malaysia. He received his honorary doctorate in entrepreneurship in 2010 for his contribution to the catering industry.

 

Gunaseelan A. Nallathamby
Director

Mr. Gunaseelan had his accountancy training with James Karan & Associates and Geoffrey Nathan Chartered Accountant in London from 1988 to 1993. His portfolio includes posts of Finance Director at Al Rashidi Petroleum Limited, London and Project Accountant at Richmount International Development Limited, a Hong Kong based company involved in resort development in Zhuhai, China.

Due to his interest in F & B, he joined Syarikat Little Caterers Sdn Bhd in 2001 as Group Accountant and was there until 2004. He is a co-founder of Jumbo Group of Companies. Mr. Gunaseelan is a member of the Chef Association of Malaysia.

 

Chithra Devi K.M. Perumal
Director of Human Resouce & Administration

Ms. Chithra Devi is one of the key members who shaped JUMBO to what it is today. Ms. Chithra brings with her eighteen years of administration experience from SCS Computers Sdn Bhd (currently Kompakar Inc. Berhad) to the company.

 

B. Jegathambigai N. Balakrishnan
Director of Accounts

A banker with deep experience, Ms. B. Jegathambigai was designated as the Director of Accounts since January 2008. Her knowledge encompasses 22 years of banking in various positions in operations and credit from Bumiputra Commerce Bank Berhad (currently CIMB Bank Berhad).

 

Magenthiran Singaraveloo
Group General Manager

Mr. Magenthiran is an accountant by training. Equipped with knowledge in external audit in Messrs. Robert Teo, Kuan and Co, he served in total 18 years in service industry at various capacities up to Senior Management position. His portfolio includes posts as Accountant at First Edition Pacific (M) Sdn Bhd, an Advertising Agency and as General Manager at Kumpulan Senireka Sdn Bhd, an ISO certified leading Architectural Consultancy firm in Malaysia.

His entrepreneur instincts got him involved in food industry and finally brought him to Food and Beverage, where he is now the Group General Manager of Jumbo Group of Companies.

Mr. Magenthiran is a member of Malaysian Institute of Management, Malaysian Institute of Human Resource of Management and also a member of Association of International Accountants (UK).

 

Abdul Hameed Zackaria
Catering Operation & Management Consultant (International Business)

Mr Abdul Hameed Zackaria is Jumbo Group’s Consultant in International Business since 2009.

He is currently the Catering Operation & Management Consultant for International Business.

His vast experience of 22 years in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in various field and another 8 years in SEA, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and Europe bears testimony to his extensive travelling and high profile job portfolios he has held over the years.

His portfolio include posts as International Marketing Manager (Europe) for CCL (UK), Operations Director for Advent SLC Industrial Catering Sdn Bhd, (Malaysia), International Marketing Director for Alpha Holdings International Ltd (New Zealand)

His experience in various industries includes Sales & Marketing, Industrial Catering, Admin & Human Resource Management.

He is also armed with extensive experience and knowledge of camp operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 1976 to 1984 and his last posting there was as Operations Manager controlling 5 camps with 15,000 mandates per day.
